Camino supports the intersection of faith, justice, & the arts

Camino PR is helping St. Mark’s church build on its powerful history of social change.  This Episcopal Church in New York’s east village has been a seat of cultural and social engagement, arts excellence, and faith-based activism for many decades.  St. Mark’s has historically been a gathering place for those pursuing immigrant, labor and civil rights, and continues to be an inclusive space for worship and activism.

The arts scene at St. Mark’s remains vibrant through residencies like the Poetry Project and Danspace Project.  Famous parishioners and artists throughout history include W.H. Auden, William Carlos William, Edna St. Vincent Millay, Patti Smith, Isadora Duncan, Martha Graham, Merce Cunningham, and others.  Andy Warhol screened his early films at St. Mark’s.
